After 26 years in the industry, we have seen many CVs over the years. Here we have gathered our best tips on how to create a good CV.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Have good structure<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ensure your CV appears neat and use <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">in reverse<\/span> Chronological order.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Regarding education and work experience, it is important to include the name of the school or employer, the degree, course of study, or position you held, and the time period this covers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Please state the period with month and year.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Include a clear overview of tasks, responsibilities, and any results achieved in the position.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose a clear layout, use headings and a simple font. Provide personal details<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Name, date of birth, address, email and mobile number must be included in the CV, and should appear early and clearly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can also include a link to your LinkedIn profile; remember that your profile should be updated accordingly.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Tailor your CV to the job you are applying for<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Not all experiences you've had will be equally relevant to the position you're applying for, so prioritise which information you elaborate on in your CV. Read the job description carefully. If you have performed any of the tasks listed in the job description, it's particularly important to include this.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Consider which courses, positions, or certifications are <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">relevant<\/span> And what professional weight they have. If you have a long CV, you can drop courses that are not relevant to the position.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>PRO TIPS:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A good tip is to have a \u00abmaster CV\u00bb, which is a detailed overview of all your education, work experience, projects, courses, positions held, etc. When you apply for a new position, you create a tailored CV by selecting what is relevant for the role from your \u00abmaster CV\u00bb.
