On behalf of a solid client we are now looking for a senior procurement specialist for a strategic and operational role. The right candidate has relevant experience, good language skills in English and Norwegian and is self driven.
Main tasks and responsibilities :
- Support the development of subcategory strategies, supplier analysis, and value creation
- Implement category strategies, including specification clarification, commercial terms, and tender processes
- Execute Procure-to-Pay activities, managing purchase requisitions in ERP systems
- Manage contracts, monitor supplier performance, handle disputes and variations
- Build and maintain supplier relationships, drive continuous improvement, and optimize processes
- Participate in project organizations for large capital projects, develop procurement strategies, and coordinate with the supply chain
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in relevant field of study or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Technical knowledge and understanding of both the subsea (SURF, SPS) and the subsurface (well construction and completion, OCTG, rigs, offshore logistics) areas
- Knowledge of global markets within the subsea and the subsurface areas; extensive knowledge of the NCS market in particular
- Knowledge of contract management
- Excellent negotiation skills with proven records
- Flexible and willing to travel
- Fluent in English and Norwegian (oral and written)
- Committed to company HSEQ policy and principles
- Act responsibly and in accordance with company HSE, quality requirements and company guidelines
