On behalf of a solid client we are now looking for a HSSE Advisor for an exciting engagement. The right candidate has relevant education and experience, as well as good language skills in both English and Norwegian.
Main tasks and responsibilities :
- Provide professional HSSE advice and support to the subsea modification team
- Develop, implement and monitor HSSE activity plans for selected campaigns
- Work closely and proactive with contractor(s) to promote a strong HSSE culture and performance
- Facilitate HSSE familiarization prior to campaigns
- Evaluate risk analyses performed by all service contractors
- Participate and/or facilitate risk assessments related to subsea activities
- Promote HSSE Risk awareness
- Prepare safety statistics and reports
- HSSE incident follow-up
- Establish and maintain bridging documents
- Facilitate and prepare input to audit and verification program, and participate in audits and inspections, as part of the Company’s duty to “see to”
- Work closely with HSSE Manager for the relevant asset and collaborate with other HSSE resources and teams to share best practices and improve HSSE performance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Master degree within relevant subject matter (technology, HSEQ, risk management etc.) Relevant experience may compensate for lack of formal education
- 6+ years of relevant experience, including experience from HSSE role within subsea and marine operations
- Excellent communication skills, written and oral, preferably in both Norwegian and English
- Excellent IT-skills
