Responsibilities

  • Prepare installation philosophy in our various assignments
  • Contribute to defining stop-dependent activities
  • Assist the onshore installation manager with method support for the installations
  • Provide input on the plan for establishing logical sequences in project plans
  • Prepare a method description/method document detailing the installation and execution method for the assignment/project.
  • Safe and efficient installation and handover/commissioning
  • Correct sectioning of large objects such as structures and pipe sections for optimal installation
  • Descriptions for lifting and handling of larger equipment packages/units
  • Philosophy for system division and handover of areas and subsystems/systems to the customer
  • Ensure good anchoring of the philosophy within the customer's operational organisation to maintain good cooperation and successful joint implementation of the selected solutions.
  • Close cooperation with the client's offshore operations organisation, as well as engineering, to develop good solutions for tie-ins to existing systems.
  • Establish the basis for plant sequences in all project phases, from engineering through to areas and systems being handed over to the customer.

Qualifications

  • MSc/BSc in a relevant subject area, or a relevant trade certificate
  • Relevant experience and/or additional education can compensate for a lack of formal higher education.
  • Experience in the Oil & Gas industry, preferably on the Norwegian continental shelf
  • Experience as a Methods Engineer/Construction Lead on maintenance projects
  • Experience with material handling and module installation
  • Experience from large EPCI projects
  • Experience from studies and the ability to communicate installation strategy and philosophy in writing through methodology documents, presentations, and reports.
  • Knowledge of IFS and SAP would be an advantage
  • Good Norwegian and English knowledge, both spoken and written
