You will be responsible for providing expert advice on environmental management, conducting environmental assessments, and ensuring that all activities are carried out in accordance with relevant environmental standards and regulations.

Main Tasks

  • Responsible for overseeing relevant government applications and permits pertaining to drilling and development activities.
  • Contribute to relevant risk and chemical assessments
  • Support project activities within approved frameworks and concepts
  • Support in government correspondence
  • Provide consulting in energy management and emissions reduction
  • Responsible for internal and external follow-up and reporting of relevant environmental parameters
  • Ensure the follow-up and exercise of duty of care in relation to suppliers and rig owners

Qualifications

  • Requires a relevant university degree at a higher level
  • Typically requires 5-10 years of relevant experience
  • Good knowledge of NCS and European regulations and standards
  • Requires extensive experience related to development of environmental impact assessments
  • The job requires high level of expertise and a thorough understanding of the oil and gas industry practices, company needs and general business conditions
  • Is in full command of the English and Norwegian language
