Main Tasks
- Responsible for overseeing relevant government applications and permits pertaining to drilling and development activities.
- Contribute to relevant risk and chemical assessments
- Support project activities within approved frameworks and concepts
- Support in government correspondence
- Provide consulting in energy management and emissions reduction
- Responsible for internal and external follow-up and reporting of relevant environmental parameters
- Ensure the follow-up and exercise of duty of care in relation to suppliers and rig owners
Qualifications
- Requires a relevant university degree at a higher level
- Typically requires 5-10 years of relevant experience
- Good knowledge of NCS and European regulations and standards
- Requires extensive experience related to development of environmental impact assessments
- The job requires high level of expertise and a thorough understanding of the oil and gas industry practices, company needs and general business conditions
- Is in full command of the English and Norwegian language
