Main Tasks

As Sr D&W Engineer Completion, you will:

  • Collaborate with Lead and Senior engineers on “life cycle” completion designs, technical scopes of work for third party services and tendering/evaluation strategiesPrepare detailed specifications for completion equipment with balancing technical requirements and performance mindset
  • Work with senior engineers on future well intervention requirements, methods and equipment
  • Preparation of the detailed operational programmes,
  • Travel offshore for well completion executions when needed.
  • Establish a time and cost estimate for ‘completion’ phases
  • Monitor well performance in accordance with Subsurface department in order to provide expertise and advice for well optimization
  • Assist and verify preparation of call-offs for required materials and services accordingly to the program and contract
  • Support the consent and discharge permit application processes
  • Monitor and support the well execution process
  • Support the well handover and certification process
  • Close out the well delivery by identifying and sharing best practices and learning, and deliver end-of-well report

Qualifications

  • BSc / MSc in Relevant area
  • Indicative industry experience minimum 6-10 years, Drilling & Wells. Proven track record of successful delivery in similar Wells role with equivalent technical and leadership dimensions
  • Excellent strategic decision-making skills. Have the ability to translate short- and long-term goals into plans of action
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal
  • Good communicator able to pull the organisation in the right direction and effectively switching between technical details and corporate strategy level communication
