Responsibilities
- Contribute to the preparation of job packages in our various assignments
- Assist engineering with input for job packages
- Assist with translation of work packages
- Assist the construction manager and onshore installation manager with method support for the installations
- Assisting with disciplinary methods and input for planning the establishment of logical sequences in project plans
- Assist the discipline methods with a method description/method document that describes the installation and implementation method for the assignment/project
- Assist the methods discipline in ensuring good anchorage of the philosophy within the customer's operational organisation in order to safeguard good cooperation and effective joint implementation of the selected solutions.
- Close cooperation with engineering to develop good solutions for tie-ins to existing systems
- Assist the discipline methods in establishing the basis for plan sequences in all project phases, from engineering through to areas and systems being handed over to the customer.
Qualifications
- BSc in a relevant subject area, or a relevant trade certificate
- Relevant experience and/or additional education can compensate for a lack of formal higher education.
- Experience in the Oil & Gas industry, preferably on the Norwegian continental shelf
- Experience as a Job Setter/Methods Engineer
- Experience with large EPCI projects will be an advantage
- Experience from studies and the ability to communicate installation strategy and philosophy in writing in method documents, presentations and reports is desirable.
- Knowledge of IFS and SAP would be an advantage
- Good Norwegian and English knowledge, both spoken and written
