The successful candidate should be a senior professional with:
- Extensive experience in offshore rigging, lifting and hoisting operations.
- Strong operational health, safety, and environment (HSE) competence and relevant offshore certifications.
- Experience of conducting safety observations, safety inductions and minor incident investigations.
- Excellent communication and coaching skills, with the ability to engage effectively with personnel across multiple disciplines, both offshore and onshore.
- Knowledge of DROPS prevention and safe lifting practices.
The scope of works includes, but is not limited to:
- Coaching and supporting personnel in job planning and preparation, particularly for lifting and rigging operations.
- Participation in Safe Job Analyses (SJAs), Toolbox Talks and Work Permit activities.
- Supporting Company and rig management with HSE focus areas and safety initiatives.
- Conducting Company Welcome Onboard / Safety Induction meetings.
- Monitoring ongoing operations on deck and providing proactive safety coaching where required.
- Working a split-shift arrangement to provide cover across both day and night operations.
