Senior innkjøper

As a Senior Purchaser, you procure goods and services on behalf of the company. You ensure and facilitate the organisation's access to necessary parts, equipment, and services at the best price, quality, and time. This involves building good relationships and maintaining close follow-up with suppliers, negotiating favourable prices, and issuing purchase orders that support the company's strategy and objectives. You will work in close collaboration with the various departments within the company.

Job duties

The workday will include, among other things:

  • Issue purchase order
  • Conduct market analyses and evaluate various offers
  • Follow up on deliveries and ensure progress according to agreed delivery times
  • Obtain quotes for goods and services
  • Maintain correct and up-to-date information within procurement systems.
  • Invoice follow-up

 

Competence and Education

Has in-depth knowledge of the supplier market within oil and gas and is familiar with the procurement and acquisition processes.

  • Strong understanding of procurement, contract management, and finance
  • Structured, independent, and highly capable
  • Works well with other departments and projects.
  • Negotiating experience
  • Contribute to continuous improvement for the company and the department
  • Experience with the STAR ERP system is an advantage.
  • Min. 5-10 years of relevant experience in a relevant field

Higher education in economics, supply chain management (SCM) or equivalent. Relevant experience may compensate for education.
