Payroll Coordinator

Are you an experienced payroll professional with great communication skills and a passion for problem-solving?

On behalf of our client, we are now looking for a Payroll Coordinator in a solid and international company. This role requires experience within payroll related areas or relevant education.

The right candidate has great cooperation and communication skills, both written and oral. The person we are looking for is analytical, problem solving and team-oriented.

Accountabilities: 

  • Paying correct pay at correct time to all employees
  • Assist employees in all matters regarding payroll, liaise with other department regarding changes and ensure all payroll related issues is taken care of as efficient as possible
  • Responsible for checking, approval, payment and posting of travel expenses and expenses for all employees.
  • Support employees in payroll and travel matters
  • Overlap with travel expenses including new rates and rules
  • Overlap with sick leave process in the system
  • Be part of the year-end and cooperate with external tax assistance regarding employees’ tax settlements
  • Ensure payroll meets all legislation in Norway and other countries

Qualifications:

  • Relevant education or practical experience within payroll related areas
  • Analytical, problem solving, time management, decision making skills
  • Ability to respond positively to customers
  • Proficient in payroll system and MS Applications

 

Location: Stavanger

Position type: Long-term engagement, with the possibility of permanent employment

Start date: ASAP. Notice that while immediate availability is advantageous, candidates with notice periods are also encouraged to apply
