• Be a part of the project procurement teams from the FEED and EPC phases through to project delivery.
• Build a sourcing and execution platform for CCS procurement packages in conjunction with the project procurement strategy.
• Implement procurement strategy to ensure that items and services are delivered according to cost, HSSE, and quality requirements within the agreed delivery timeframe.
• Cooperate with suppliers to maximise the use of available industry products and standard solutions, contributing to category management priorities.
• Work closely with various functions such as project engineering, legal & compliance, and construction & HSSEQ to select the best technical and commercial opportunities with the lowest compliance risk.
Knowledge/Skills Required
• Experience in sourcing and strong contract management of procurement packages with medium to high technical complexity is essential for the position.
Experience in preparing requests for quotations, clarifications, negotiations, contract administration (VORs, Claims etc) and execution follow-up is essential for the position.
• Have experience of working within an EPC package execution environment, alongside the Project Resident Engineer (PRE) and other project support functions.
• Experience working with engineering (PRE) in a one-to-one setup, following technical discussions and analysing their impact further down the process (schedule, cost risk).
• SAP Procurement knowledge (S4H). Ariba contract management, VIM (Invoicing, PO close out).
• Sound understanding of contracts and the ability to review and negotiate contractual documents (to the extent necessary, in cooperation with other departments)
Change management skills and reporting capabilities
• Broad understanding of EPC project dynamics, including technical, operational and planning contents
• Ability to work independently on all required tasks
Experience Required
• 5-7 years’ relevant experience in Procurement & Sourcing
Educational Background Required
• Preferred technical education due to the technical nature of the packages
• Relevant technical, commercial, or administrative experience within the procurement of packages or other relevant areas
• Proficient in MS Office and other digital tools
