On behalf of an exciting client, we are now looking for a structured and systematic Project Lead. The right candidate will have relevant experience as a Project Lead in the oil and gas industry, satisfactory language skills in English and Norwegian, and relevant formal education.
Main Responsibilities
- Leads project teams and secures the interface between Engineering & Procurement, Fabrication, Installation, MC/Commissioning and Job-setting.
- Establish and maintain the engineering and procurement schedule
- Develop cost estimates and scope of work for projects to obtain approval by the client for project execution
- Responsible for the preparation and follow-up of plans, change management, weight, cost and interface with equipment vendors.
- Ensure compliance with the agreed Project Execution Model (PEM)
- Provides input to the risk register and contributes to risk management in the project
- Contribute to engineering KPI results both internally and within projects
- Comply with the company’s Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) guidelines and Quality Assurance (QA) objectives.
- Contribute with technical solutions to reduce CO2 footprints and how to utilise standard solutions
- Ensure that discipline deliverables are in compliance with work processes and procedures.
Qualification
- Higher technical education at Bachelor's or Master's level
- Experience as Project Lead on maintenance and modification projects within the Oil and Gas industry
- Experienced in solving multi-disciplinary problems

- Strong communication and cooperation skills
- Structured and systematic approach
- Good analytical skills
- To be able to work independently and as part of a team, to be proactive and focused on safety and project goals.
- Good communication skills, fluent written and spoken English and Norwegian
